What it does
Public LinkedIn profiles, company pages, posts with their comments and reactions, and people, company and job search. That’s what this server returns, as JSON, to whatever agent you run in Claude or Cursor. At 38 live endpoints it’s the largest catalog ScraperSocial publishes, and the one where you should think about both price and lawful basis before every call.
Six billed tools are named directly. get_profile returns a person’s public profile for 10 credits, or 25 if you ask for the email to be included. get_channel_posts lists what a profile has published at 5 credits per post. get_post_stats (5), get_comments (5 per comment) and get_comment_replies (5 per reply) cover engagement on a post URL. search takes a keyword and returns 5-credit results. Everything else goes through call_endpoint: company records, funding and insights at 10 credits; company jobs, people and posts at 5; people search by name or by services, job search, post reactions and the ad library at 5 per result; and twenty profile sub-resources such as experiences, skills, certifications, publications and patents at 5 apiece, so you fetch one slice rather than the whole record. The contact endpoint on its own is 25 credits.
A reminder that matters more here than on any other spoke: this is data about real people. Have a reason to process it, keep only what you need, and honour deletion requests.
Four jobs it finishes on its own
Paste a profile URL and the agent returns headline, location, current role and history. If you only need the work history, call the experiences sub-resource for 5 credits instead of the 10-credit profile.
Company record, funding, insights, open jobs, recent posts and the people the page lists. Ten credits for the core record, five for each list. Enough for a one-page brief in a single conversation.
get_post_stats for the headline numbers, get_comments and get_comment_replies for who said what, post-reactions for who reacted. Useful for thought-leadership reporting and for seeing which competitors' posts actually get discussed.
people-search, people-search-by-name and people-search-by-services each return 5-credit results. Pair with job-search to see who's hiring for the same role, or with ads-search to see who's advertising.
Limits · read before you connect
Written by a person, not generated. If something here is wrong, tell us.
Public LinkedIn only, read as a logged-out visitor, so anything gated by sign-in stays hidden. There are no transcripts, summaries or downloads on this spoke; LinkedIn video isn’t covered. Three catalog entries, profile-images, profile-videos and company-similar, are unavailable right now. Lists page at 50 items, charged per item, and nothing costs under 1 credit once it succeeds. The contact endpoint and the include-email option are 25 credits and return personal data: use them only with a lawful basis under GDPR, CCPA or whatever applies to you. The server never sends connection requests or messages.

Six do one LinkedIn thing each. The last two reach all 38 endpoints by path, so nothing in the catalog is out of an agent's reach.

Questions
LinkedIn is the most expensive platform to read reliably, and the full profile is the heaviest object. Sub-resources are 5 each so you can pay for the one field you need.
Contact data. Either the profile-contact endpoint or get_profile with the email option. Both return personal data and both need a reason you can defend.
Not even slightly. ScraperSocial is an independent company, isn't affiliated with LinkedIn or Microsoft, and isn't part of any partner programme. LinkedIn's Marketing and Talent APIs are the sanctioned route for partner use cases.
Only to the extent the page is public. Fields that LinkedIn hides from logged-out visitors aren't returned, and a fully gated profile returns not found, free of charge.
No. Transcripts exist for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X; the LinkedIn catalog has no transcript, summary or download endpoint.
Up to 50, 5 credits each. A full page of people search is 250 credits, so narrow the query first.
Go further
Thirty-eight endpoints, each with a stated price, read by an agent that asks before spending. That’s a different experience from a LinkedIn scraper you babysit. Start with the 100 free credits, enough for ten profiles or twenty company lists, and connect it to your agent when you’re ready.
