What it does

What your agent can do with Truth Social

If your monitoring covers only the networks that are easy to read, your picture of a public conversation is skewed. Truth Social is one of the networks that usually gets left out, and this server puts two reads on it within reach of an agent: a public profile and an account’s posts, both priced at 2 credits.

Hand get_profile a handle and it comes back with follower count, bio and post totals. get_channel_posts walks that account’s timeline, engagement included, at 2 credits a post, 50 per call at most, with next_cursor pointing at the page after. There’s no search, so you need to know the handle you’re after before you start. A third endpoint for a single post by URL appears in the catalog but is currently unavailable, and list_endpoints, which is free, will tell you that rather than let you spend credits finding out.

The natural fit is a watch list. An agent that checks a dozen public accounts each morning across X, Bluesky, Threads and Truth Social, pulls the new posts, and writes a digest, spends a few credits per account per day here. For the record, this spoke reads the platform; it doesn’t take a view on it, and it returns what the platform publishes without editorial filtering. New accounts get 100 credits without a card, enough for fifty posts.

Four jobs it finishes on its own

01

Include Truth Social in a daily digest

get_channel_posts for each handle on your list, keep the new posts, summarise. The same loop you'd run on X or Bluesky, at 2 credits a post.

02

Quote a post accurately

Screenshots get cropped and paraphrased. An agent fetching the account's posts gets the text as published, with the timestamp and engagement figures alongside.

03

Track follower counts over time

Run get_profile on a schedule at 2 credits a call. Over weeks that gives you a follower series for any public account without visiting the site.

04

Balance a cross-network media report

Researchers comparing how a story moves across platforms can pull the same account's posts here and on X in one conversation. The agent then lines them up by timestamp.

What this does not do

Written by a person, not generated. If something here is wrong, tell us.

Two live reads, both public: profiles and post timelines. There’s no keyword search, no single-post lookup (that endpoint is in the catalog but switched off), no comments or replies, no transcripts, no media download. Private or suspended accounts turn up as not found and leave the balance untouched. Posts arrive in pages of up to 50 at 2 credits each, and any successful call costs at least 1 credit. Engagement fields are what the platform shows publicly. It reads and nothing more; no posting, replying or following.

Two do one Truth Social thing each. The last two reach all 2 endpoints by path, so nothing in the catalog is out of an agent's reach.

Questions

Before you connect

Do I need a Truth Social account? #

No. Bring a ScraperSocial key and nothing else; the public site is read as a visitor would see it.

Can I search Truth Social by keyword? #

No. There's no search endpoint on this spoke. You need the handle up front.

Is this Truth Social's official API? #

No. ScraperSocial runs independently, has no affiliation with Truth Social or Trump Media & Technology Group, and returns only public data.

Why can't I fetch a single post by URL? #

The post endpoint exists in the catalog but is unavailable right now. Use get_channel_posts on the account and find the post in the timeline instead.

What does a page of posts cost? #

Two credits per post: the default 20 come to 40 credits, and the maximum 50 come to 100.
